We are delighted that, at very short notice, the Maxwell Quartet will be our Artistic Directors this year. The Maxwell Quartet's excellence in the classical repertoire, combined with their unique responses to traditional Scottish music will make this a very special Mendelssohn on Mull. They will be joined by eight young artists and there will be a full programme of concerts. It's not possible to give a detailed programme for each event at the moment but we will update things here as they get decided. Be sure to hold the dates in your diary and come back here nearer the time for the full details.

It is with great regret that the Doric Quartet is unable to take part in Mendelssohn on Mull 2024 due to unforeseen personal circumstances. We send them our best wishes and here's a reminder of their work with us in 2023.

Just as the concerts are so greatly appreciated and enjoyed by Mull residents it is good to see how much the young artists also enjoy their time on Mull. That shines through very clearly. We are happy to contribute to the ongoing presence of an event that is so important to the cultural life of the island, while supporting the next generation of performing musicians.
